Krugersdorp

What a weekend - a monster thrash, a couple of hours kip and a breakfast run out to Krugersdorp for a sparrows fart game on grass. Khosa (Cambrians, Khosa... strange names these hockey clubs have), the blokes who didn't bother to rock up on Mothers' Day. Turns out they're not the most social of sides so beating them 1 duck felt really good (they didn't even stick around for a beer after the game). Thanks to everyone for making the effort - long way to drive on a Sunday morning. Gazza did manage to Frog March one of the head-honcho's at the club, great guy with a magic tash.

Croudy came back for a guest appearance thanks to some 2am recruitment by Harps on Saturday morning, Stoks was late, so was Steyno, all round there's not a lot to say, a great game from everyone - and, Trent, a clean sheet before you ask; granted I only had to make 1 save, Frank, Al, Stoks, Doug and Commie did all the real work.

Highlights included Muzzy here who got his money's worth, taking lunch and the chair with him after scoring an absolute beauty off a short piched and rising delivery in the D. Two hands for the second time this season and just look at the result. Muzz, if this doesn't get you thinking, nothing will.

Commie, clearly happiest on grass, had another blinder winning himself the MoM. Great game mate. Frank got himself the Punchy Carver suit... again... for a handoff that Richard Bands would've been proud of. "Sorry Carlos, the bus is full." And that was pretty much that. Fines, banter and a long drive back to Joeys.

To close the day off, on the way we happened across this absolute classic... just for you Skeg. I'm pretty sure that this guy has, at some stage or another, enojoyed the soothing sounds of Kurt Darren.

Hey Bru yourself China!
