Once in a season...

Balleiuelei (or something) College was yesterday the site of a performance by the MFP that I'm still trying to get my head around. I can only think that following a couple of games in which we've demolished opposition, we took to beating the one side that's been the surprise package in the League thus far... ourselves! It was ridiculous, but as was said afterwards: "there's a game like this every season". Let's hope this is that game. We went down 1-0 to a bunch of total burks, who had 1 shot on goal - which I made a mess of and let in, to our 70 or so that somehow managed to find their goal-keeper. Enough said.

True to form, we put the result behind us and climbed into a "mini-fines meeting" that turned into a late night thrash at Keegans.

Most of the action was caught in writing by the more attentive than usual, Marc O'Jury, with some pearls of wisdom including:

Matt: “Vomiting under the posts – good thinking as it makes for an easy conversion”
Fat Carvs: “Having a woody at the display of hockey”
Scribe’s note: “Kath is beautiful, where are her sisters?”


Skeg, the clear Man of the Match on the field, repeated his stirling performance off the field with the help of the quite beautiful Kath and her Frog.


If we thought the frog was exciting, boy were we wrong. The last point of the fines book:

Kath: “for kissing another girl – scribe notes that this excites him greatly!”

and the crescendo of the afternoon; a touching (literally) moment between Kath and the beautiful bar-lady from Keegans. Fat Carvs, if you'd been there you may well have found yourself with another "woody". I know I did.

I'm not sure what time we eventually crawled out of Keegans. It wasn't before Frank the Tank set me up with possibly the hottest waitress in the known universe (even hotter than Kath's score pictured above).

Honesty, Fair Play, Truth - you'd better believe it!

PS. Happy Birthday Harps - our esteemed FC turns 27 today. That's almost 3 times younger than Robbie. Congrats mate!
